Full Job Description School Operations Coordinator Location/Schedule:
Winston-Salem, NC, on-site; 1st shift Monday - Friday, with some weekend/evening hours depending upon events/program needs
Your Impact:
As the School Operations Coordinator at Anderson Academy, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a supportive and effective school environment for students, families, and staff. This role directly impacts the school's success by managing essential operational, HR, and financial functions. Your work will ensure that all school operations run smoothly, creating an organized and welcoming atmosphere that supports both academic growth and community engagement. Join us in making a meaningful difference in children's lives through education and dedicated operational support.
Hiring Range :
$49,500 to $55,000 annually (12 month position)

Paid Holidays Education/Experience/Licensure:
Bachelor's degree required. Degrees in education, business administration, or related field preferred. 5+ years of full time experience required in administrative operational functions including general office tasks, calendar scheduling, record keeping, with knowledge of finance, HR, and task management. Experience with social services organizations, schools, or medical field preferred. Experience supporting Principals or school leadership preferred. A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered.

Administrative Expertise:
Skilled in office management, calendar scheduling, and record keeping with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
Communication and Relationship-Building:
Excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners.
Organizational and Time Management Skills:
Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities efficiently.
Financial Acumen:
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial reporting.
HR Knowledge:
Familiar with onboarding, benefits processing, and employee relations.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and operational software; familiarity with HR and finance software preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide Administrative Support:
Assist the Principal with reports, correspondence, meeting notes, and maintain organized school records in line with privacy policies.
Coordinate School Operations:
Manage the school calendar, oversee communications, track student attendance, and support school events like open houses and family nights.
Manage Food and Transportation Services:
Coordinate with service providers for meal programs, supplies, and transportation to ensure students have necessary resources.
Support Finance and Budgeting:
Track expenses, process invoices, manage vendor contracts, and assist with preparing the school's budget in collaboration with the finance team. Assist with
HR and Onboarding:
Support new employee onboarding, track attendance and leave, and assist with benefits and internal communications for a cohesive work environment.
Oversee Facilities and IT Needs:
Manage maintenance work tickets, key and access control, and maintain compliance with school permits and licenses. Serve as
Family and Community Liaison:
Act as the main point of contact for families and the community, providing support and clear communication.
Uphold Confidentiality and Professionalism:
Handle sensitive information with discretion, exhibit professional conduct, and support special projects as needed.
