Job:
Responsible for coordinating/scheduling patients for surgery. This will include coordinating with patients for all of their pre and post-operative care visits. You will be communicating with hospital departments, Surgical vendor reps and our internal insurance pre-certification teams. You will be working closely with all Neurosurgery Providers.
What You'll Do:
Communicate with hospital departments to schedule testing for Inpatient and Emergency Room patients. Schedule patients for follow-up visits and patient procedures. Respond to all inquiries from patients concerning preparation for procedures and expected follow-up. Responsible for scheduling patients for appointments at outside entities.
Who You Are:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Patient Service Representative experience required. Experience in a healthcare environment required. Knowledge of reception tasks, clinic policies/procedures, and paperwork. Epic or EMR experience is a plus!
