Join a Leading New York City Scaffold Company We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Scaffold Permit Representative to manage permit applications, agency filings, and regulatory compliance for sidewalk sheds, scaffolding, and construction-related projects throughout New York City. Position Overview The Scaffold Permit Representative will serve as the liaison between our company, clients, and city agencies, ensuring all permits and filings are processed accurately and on time. This role is critical to keeping projects compliant and moving forward without delays. Responsibilities Prepare, submit, and track scaffold and sidewalk shed permits. Coordinate filings with the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) and other city agencies. Monitor permit status and ensure timely renewals and amendments. Review project documents for compliance with NYC regulations. Communicate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and clients regarding permit requirements. Maintain accurate permit records and documentation. Resolve permit-related issues and expedite approvals when necessary. Stay current on NYC DOB rules, codes, and filing procedures. Qualifications Experience with NYC construction permits, scaffolding permits, or DOB filings preferred. Knowledge of sidewalk sheds, supported scaffolds, and construction regulations. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online filing systems. Experience working with NYC DOB NOW and BIS systems is a plus.
