This position requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. Duties Monitor and patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate and monitor CCTV systems to ensure surveillance coverage of key areas. Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility. Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR when required. Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary for incident reporting or investigations. Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs. Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports. Qualifications Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is an advantage. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies is beneficial. A certificate in security training or military experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals. Strong attention to detail with a keen sense of observation.
