We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Expeditor (Food Runner) to join our hospitality team. This position is ideal for someone with experience in an upscale casual or fine dining environment who is looking to build a long-term career in hospitality. The Expeditor plays a critical role in ensuring seamless communication between the kitchen and dining room while delivering an exceptional guest experience. What You'll Do Serve as the liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house teams. Inspect and verify food orders for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before they leave the kitchen. Deliver food promptly and professionally to guests. Communicate effectively with chefs, servers, bartenders, and management. Maintain awareness of menu items, daily features, modifications, and allergies. Ensure courses are delivered in the correct sequence and timing. Support service staff during busy periods to maintain smooth restaurant operations. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of service stations and expo areas. What We're Looking For Previous experience running food in an upscale casual or fine dining restaurant required. Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency. Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Availability to work five days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays or restaurant equipment safely.
