Position OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Printing & Packaging Manager to lead high-volume production across digital printing, packaging, and fullfilment operations.

This role is responsible for driving throughput, improving efficiency, and ensuring on-time delivery across all print, bagging, and finishing functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence on the production floor and a track record of identifying bottlenecks, optimizing workflows, and scaling operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Operations LeadershipOwn end-to-end print and pack operations, from production through final shipmentDrive daily output across digital, pad, edible, and direct printing platforms (including HP Indigo 6K or similar)Oversee bagging, packing, and finishing operations with a focus on throughput and accuracyAlign printing capacity with downstream packaging and fulfillment capabilities Process Improvement & EfficiencyIdentify and eliminate production bottlenecks, particularly in bagging and material flowOptimize floor layouts, staging processes, and material handling strategiesDrive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste Data & Performance ManagementTrack KPIs including output, labor efficiency, downtime, and on-time deliveryUtilize Excel (pivot tables, reporting tools) to analyze trends and improve performanceEstablish clear accountability metrics across production teams Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop supervisors and production staffBuild a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvementPartner with HR on staffing, training, and performance management Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Operations, Planning, Customer Service, and Sales teamsEnsure alignment between production schedules and customer commitments Equipment, Safety & ComplianceOversee performance and maintenance of printing and finishing equipmentEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Qualifications5+ years of experience in print production, packaging, fulfillment, or high-volume manufacturingStrong understanding of digital printing and finishing operationsProven ability to improve throughput and operational efficiencyHands-on leadership style with a strong floor presenceProficiency in Microsoft Excel and data-driven decision makingExperience with bagging, packing, or fulfillment operations preferredAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment What We OfferCompetitive compensation and performance-based incentivesComprehensive benefits package401(k) with company matchOpportunity to make a direct impact in a growing, family-owned organizationCollaborative, team-oriented culture focused on execution and results Join Our TeamIf you are a driven operations leader who thrives on improving processes, leading teams, and delivering resultswe encourage you to apply and be part of Nassau Candys continued growth.
