Job Description

Part-Time Operations Assistant Zoomin Groomin is looking for a reliable and organized Operations Assistant to help support our growing mobile pet grooming business. This is a very part-time position, typically 1-2 hours per day (8-10 hours per week), making it a great opportunity for someone looking for supplemental income, flexible work, or a way to be part of a growing small business. This position is primarily in-person and will involve working around our grooming vans, inventory, storage areas, and operational facilities. Responsibilities Inventory counts and supply tracking Restocking grooming vans Organizing and maintaining operational spreadsheets Monitoring grooming van supplies and equipment Assisting with supply ordering Tracking maintenance items and operational needs Helping keep our storage, yard, and work areas organized Emptying trash and maintaining cleanliness of operational areas Managing towel inventory and laundry coordination Assisting with van cleaning and detailing Coordinating vehicle maintenance appointments Dropping off and picking up vans from mechanics and service providers when needed Picking up supplies and operational materials as needed Identifying operational issues before they become larger problems Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must have reliable personal transportation Comfortable driving company vehicles when required Ability to lift 50 pounds Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Dependable and punctual Comfortable using spreadsheets and basic computer software Ability to work independently and manage tasks without constant supervision Ideal Experience Inventory management Operations support Warehouse or logistics work Fleet or vehicle management Small business operations Administrative support Facilities or maintenance coordination Trade, mechanical, or hands-on operational experience is a plus Compensation $17-$22 per hour based on experience Schedule Approximately 8-10 hours per week Typically 1-2 hours per day Flexible scheduling Who This Position Is Great For Someone looking for supplemental income A retiree looking to stay active A mechanically inclined individual who enjoys organization A warehouse, logistics, or operations professional looking for extra hours Someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes What Success Looks Like Vans are stocked, clean, and ready for the week Inventory is organized and accurate Maintenance issues are identified early Operational areas remain clean and organized Supplies are available when needed Small operational issues are solved before they become larger problems The ideal person is proactive, dependable, and takes ownership of tasks without needing constant direction. Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
