4 Akron, OH Job Details Part-time 23 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description McGregor PACE , a community based Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly , takes great pride in the provision of comprehensive services for frail older persons. We are expanding into Lorain County and have an employment opportunity for an experienced Home Care Scheduler who is a certified Home Health Aide, CNA, or STNA seeking a stable but "flexible" work schedule whose primary duties are to coordinate Home Care Staffing for program enrollees and provide "back-up" direct care services in the home as needed. This is a part-time position
  • M-F•8 am•1 pm Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates the provision of 24-hour care delivery and direct home care nursing services in participants' homes to ensure quality services that meet participants' needs Provides support to office staff, customer service needs, answering phones, copying, filing Responsible for the day-to-day personal care and safety of the participant.
Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: personal care, toileting, bathing, ambulation, feeding, dressing Responsible for light housekeeping, laundry, and assisting with meal preparation as needed Communicates status changes and relevant participant information to supervisor or designate staff as relevant Completes required documentation, according to organizational guidelines and time frames Requirements High school diploma or G.E.D. Home Health Aide certification or STNA (state-tested nursing assistant) or CNA (certified nursing assistant) 1 year of experience working with frail, older adults, or persons with special needs required; prior experience with dementia patients, desirable Valid Ohio driver's license or State of Ohio identification and reliable transportation Ability to lift or move 50
  • 75 lbs EOE.
Pre-employment criminal background check and physical are mandatory.
