Project Scheduler in Chagrin Falls,OH,US

The Company is seeking a professional construction scheduler to plan, coordinate, and develop schedules for large-scale civil infrastructure construction projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in construction scheduling using Oracle Primavera P6 and HCSS HeavyJob. Candidates must have the Ability to work at the project level alone or as part of a team to support the construction teams and the project managers, with recurring schedule updates, special incidental work such as Time-Impact Analyses, resource loading, and Schedule generated payments. Excellent communication skills and work ethic are a must.

Company:

• Developing and maintaining fully cost-loaded CPM schedules in Primavera P6 for heavy civil construction projects.
• Importing cost- and resource-loaded project data from HCSS HeavyJob into Primavera P6 and validating data integrity.
• Sequencing construction activities to align with means and methods, production rates, and project constraints.
• Coordinating with Project Managers, Estimators, Superintendents, and Engineers to ensure schedules reflect field operations and contract requirements.
• Updating schedules on a regular basis to reflect progress, changes, and impacts to time and cost.
• Performing schedule analysis, including critical path, float analysis, and impact assessments.
• Supporting change management, delay analysis, and time impact evaluations as required.
• Assisting with schedule narratives, reports, and presentations for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring schedules comply with contract specifications, owner requirements, and CPM best practices.
• Performing additional planning and controls duties as needed to support project success.
• Analysis of project documents to identify potential project impacts
• Manage multi-disciplinary construction project schedules including design, engineering, construction, and integration of major sub-contractor's schedule
• Analysis of proposal documents to generate activities, logic, and production rate at a level of detail adequate for the schedule
• Prepare and present Time-Impact Analyses
• Prepares and maintains project plans, staffing requirements, and budgets
• Performs administrative tasks such as preparing progress reports and arranging meetings

Background Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• 3-5 years scheduling experience for civil construction projects
• Experience using Oracle Primavera (P6)
• Experience with cost/resource loaded scheduling
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence all stakeholders including colleagues, internal executives, and client representatives
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Strong written, verbal communication, and collaboration
• Experience in HCSS HeavyJob
