Assembler (1st shift) ($19-21/hr.) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 1st Shift Assembler to join our team in a small manufacturing warehouse. You will work from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, assembling graphite rupture discs and related components to precise specifications. We are looking for an individual to start as soon as possible after interviewing. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. Apply Today! Responsibilities Assemble graphite rupture discs and related components according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions. Perform repetitive, detail-focused assembly work in a controlled manufacturing environment. Handle graphite materials carefully to ensure product integrity and quality. Inspect parts for defects and ensure finished products meet quality standards. Use hand tools, measuring devices, and basic assembly equipment. Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and clean work practices. Accurately and neatly complete production documentation and work orders. Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality standards. Use a drill press and perform basic math calculations. Assist with setup, changeover, and conduct final assembly, packing, and shipping. Prepare products for shipping and attach tags and gaskets. Essential Skills Ability to lift 50 lbs. Previous manufacturing experience, particularly in small part assembly. Experience using hand tools. Ability to perform repetitive work. Capability to follow work instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications General production and assembly skills. Experience with drill press operation. Neat handwriting for documentation. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a graphite shop environment, which may be a bit dusty due to the heat treatment process for discs. The workspace can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, but break rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Join a team of 20 employees in a facility dedicated solely to producing graphite rupture discs, located in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chagrin Falls, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
