Job Description

Startup Operations Coordinator Youngstown Area | Courier & Logistics Company We are a growing local courier and logistics company looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants more than just a "job." This is a ground-floor opportunity to work directly alongside ownership and help build operations in a fast-moving business. The right person will play a key role in dispatching, route optimization, driver coordination, customer communication, deliveries, sales and day-to-day operational problem solving. This is NOT a cush office position. Every day is different, and we are looking for someone who can remain calm under chaos, think independently, and help solve problems in real time.
Responsibilities will include:
Dispatching drivers Route planning and optimization Communicating with customers and drivers Assisting with deliveries when needed Monitoring operational efficiency Helping improve systems and workflows General logistics and operations support Growing clientele
Ideal Candidate:
Entrepreneurial mindset Reliable and self-motivated Calm under pressure Strong communication skills Comfortable multitasking Able to adapt quickly Interested in growth and leadership opportunities Experience in logistics, delivery, restaurant management, customer service, or operations is a plus — but attitude and work ethic matter more
Compensation:
Modest starting pay based on experience Performance bonuses Efficiency bonuses Growth opportunities as the company expands We may begin with a paid 30-day operational internship/trial period to evaluate fit on both sides before moving into a permanent role.
