Job Description

Overview Scheduling/Intake Coordinator Milwaukie, OR Benefits:

Medical and Dependent Care Responsibilities:
Serve as a combined Intake Coordinator and Scheduler (50/50 split), balancing intake workflows with clinician scheduling responsibilities. Coordinate with clinicians to optimize schedules, ensuring full caseloads while honoring individual scheduling preferences and availability. Collaborate with the Nurse and Therapy Manager on clinician schedules, coverage needs, and adjustments for clinical staffing changes. Proactively identify and reassign openings to maximize utilization and minimize unfilled time, communicating changes to clinicians and clients promptly. Collection, data entry, and distribution of intake information of potential patients Manages insurance eligibility confirmations of patients Obtains pre-authorization with various payor sources
Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent time management skills Self-motivated, highly organized, and a team player Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a medical office highly preferred The Intake/Scheduling Coordinator collaborates with the leadership team members to manage clinical intakes and appropriate referrals of potential patients.
