If precision work energizes you, this is where your expertise turns into real-world impact. A day in the life You arrive, review the router and setup sheets, and plan your first job. You load a Mitsubishi wire EDM or a Makino sinker, confirm your offsets, and run a first-article check. During the shift, you fine-tune NC code to tighten cycle times, perform in-process inspection to exacting tolerances, and troubleshoot a tricky setup by improving a fixture and refining technique. Before you leave, your well-planned lights-out run is queued, with monitoring and maintenance steps handled so the machines keep producing through the night.
