Expeditor/ Cashier

Tallow is a seed-oil-free kitchen built on one simple belief: ingredients matter. Practically everything we sell is made from scratch. We cook with grass-fed beef tallow, make sauces in-house, and serve food we're proud to eat ourselves. This is a small team, fast pace, and high standards. If you want an easy job where you hide behind a counter, this isn't it.

The Role:

As a Food Service Associate, you are a key operator on the floor. You'll handle customers, assemble and bag orders, and support kitchen prep — especially sauces — to keep service moving smoothly. This role requires awareness, urgency, and attention to detail. You'll rotate between tasks as needed. There's no "that's not my job" mindset here. Responsibilities Greet customers, take orders, and handle payments accurately Bag and expo orders quickly and cleanly for dine-in, pickup, and delivery Prep sauces and light food items alongside the kitchen lead Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times Restock sauces, packaging, and front-of-house supplies Communicate clearly with the kitchen during service Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards Move with urgency during rushes without sacrificing accuracy What We're Looking For Reliable, punctual, and accountable Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Able to switch tasks without being told twice Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Positive attitude with customers and teammates Willing to learn how food is made — not just handed over Requirements Food service or customer service experience preferred (not required) Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to ~30 lbs Availability for nights and/or weekends Why This Role Matters At Tallow, every plate represents the brand.
