Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full time patient scheduler and referral processor. As an employee of Northwoods Therapy, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and supporting the operations of our organization with our patient focused care. You will be supporting our team of 31 physical therapists and joining our team as our first point of contact
Responsibilities:
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Utilize medical terminology knowledge to assist with administrative tasks
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly
Skills:
  • Strong phone etiquette skills to provide professional customer service over the phone
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
  • Proficient in data entry to ensure accurate and timely insurance authorizations
  • Knowledge of medical terminology to support administrative tasks in a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with medical office operations is preferred but not required If you are a dedicated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer care, we encourage you to apply for the position.

We are seeking the person who stands out from other applicants, wants to work hard and make a difference. Training to take place in Altoona and/or Chippewa Falls. Office work location during the first 3-6 months is a point of discussion (Altoona, Chippewa Falls) and with the best candidate, option to work remote is possible after proficiency is achieved.
