Operations & Outreach Coordinator ZEV Co-Op Seattle, WA Job Details Full-time $22 - $27 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Google Workspace Computer literacy Driver's License CRM system proficiency Productivity software Associate's degree Crisis management Technical Proficiency Full Job Description The Outreach & Operations Coordinator is a dynamic, hybrid role essential to the day-to-day functional execution and community growth of ZEV Coop. Operating out of Seattle, this position serves as the critical link between member experience and fleet management. The Coordinator is responsible for executing grassroots community engagement, delivering excellent customer support, and ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our electric vehicle (EV) fleet and charging infrastructure (EVSE). This role works cross-functionally, collaborating closely with both the Outreach and Operations teams to align membership strategies with fleet capabilities. The Coordinator provides vital on-the-ground support for both community initiatives and field operations, ensuring seamless continuity between participant needs and vehicle readiness, and currently will report directly to the Outreach Manager. Key Responsibilities 1.
Member Experience & Community Outreach Customer Support & Onboarding:
Act as the frontline point of contact for participant concerns, ensuring rapid resolution and high-level care. Process driver applications, conduct motor vehicle record (MVR) checks, review membership applications, and process income qualification requests.
Community Engagement:
Assist in the planning, execution, and on-site management of community outreach events, listening sessions, and the annual member meeting to build brand visibility and generate membership leads.
Documentation & Feedback:
Help maintain and update the Carshare Handbook, FAQs, and driver orientation materials. Assist in deploying customer surveys and tracking feedback.
Event Assistance:
helping the leadership team as needed with in-person events and activations to serve the membership and community. 2.
Fleet Operations & Infrastructure Support Asset Management & Servicing:
Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and servicing for the EV fleet and charging stations. Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed using fleet management software.
Crisis & Incident Response:
Assist in the response to vehicle-related crises, coordinating emergency towing, tracking damage reports, and supporting the safe recovery of assets.
Host Site & Vendor Support:
Serve as a secondary contact for Host Sites, conducting routine site visits to ensure operational standards. Assist in tracking vendor and subcontractor activities. 3.
Administration & Systems Management Digital Systems Utilization:
Maintain high proficiency in the Co-op's CRM, customer service platforms, and carshare/fleet management software (GTS, Cloudboxx) to track support tickets, maintenance logs, and member data.
Cross-Departmental Coordination:
Relay vital participant feedback to the Operations team to resolve hardware/software issues and ensure fleet availability aligns with outreach promotions.
Updating Operations & CRM Systems:
Updating the policies and documentation around the Carshare Handbook, Operations Blueprint or other data systems related to the organization. 4.
Safety, Risk, & Culture Safety Compliance:
Actively participate in the Co-op's Safety Management System (SMS). Strictly enforce and adhere to "
STOP WORK
" protocols, hazard reporting, and PPE usage. Right to

In the case of emergencies or safety concerns this position can go directly to the Deputy Director or Executive Director as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Minimum requirement of an Associate's Degree (BA or BS highly preferred).
Experience:
Proven background in customer service, administrative support, or community outreach. Previous experience in project coordination or operations is highly desired. Familiarity with carshare models and EV/EVSE infrastructure is a strong plus.
Skills:
Exceptionally strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities. High degree of organization with a deep understanding of customer service and risk mitigation.
Technical Literacy:
High computer literacy with the ability to quickly master CRM platforms, fleet management software, and Google Workspace.
License & Vehicle:
Valid Washington state Driver's License required with access to a personal vehicle to use as needed.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands Environment:
Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors. Attire is Pacific Northwest business casual, adhering to Co-op uniform and grooming standards to maintain a neat, clean, and orderly appearance.
Physical Requirements:
Requires occasional operation and driving of a motor vehicle. Physical activities include standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Requires finger dexterity and the ability to manipulate medium and small objects.
Safety:
Mandatory utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as assigned and adherence to a Drug-Free workplace requirement as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
