Job Description
Find your calling at Mercy! Operations Specialist professionals are well prepared in helping clinical and non-clinical providers meet the current healthcare and business challenges by capitalizing on short-and-long-term opportunities for growth and enterprise improvement. Operations Specialist will take a comprehensive approach involving multiple dimensions of the hospital, clinic, and other care setting operations. The primary focus includes workforce support, and technological systems support. Working in cooperation with workforce operations, this role is a Partner in Excellence in all these areas, delivering the tools, education & training, expertise, and focused commitment to achieve sustainable change and position outcomes. This approach will help re-energize the hospitals and clinics across the ministry's culture by nurturing its most important asset, its people, while building a solid foundation for long-term financial strength. How this is accomplished, is by implementing the following objectives below.
- Implementing the Comprehensive Assessment findings
- Performing in and supporting the key performance drivers of overall operational strategy
- Supporting Improvement Projections
- Participating in Action Plan Management Progress Tracking and support of Performance Analytics

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business Admin or related field.Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory or leadership role involving systems applications and/or analytics required; Advanced Graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PhD, etc.) preferred. Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaborative in a team environment. Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization. Willingness to travel up to 40% within Mercy footprintMO, AR, OK & KS.
Other Skills, knowledge and abilities: Proficient in the followingMicrosoft Products:
Office/Teams, Excel, Power BI, Visio, Project and PowerPoint. Must be able to assume a high degree of independent functioning and demonstrate prudent decision-making, autonomy and flexibility.Lean Six Sigma Experience Preferred:
