Patient Scheduler Hybrid - Columbus, OH (On-site training for the first 90+ days) 2-Month Contract to

Hire Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required One+ year of customer service experience over the phone or in person Passion for providing excellent customer service High level of interpersonal skills with ability to handle sensitive, confidential situations and built trust with patients calling in High proficiency with technology and using multiple computer-based systems with ability to learn new programs

Responsibilities:

Speak with patients to assess their needs through actively listening to their concerns and questions and making appropriate recommendations and clarifications Coordinate outpatient appointments across multiple specialties including routine visits, urgent and emergency issues and associated testing Work with callers to resolve complex problems by gaining understanding of large-scale operational processes Become a subject matter expert, understanding the nuanced processes of determining appropriate appointment needs and provider preferences Utilize software systems to facilitate patient interactions Provide outstanding customer service to callers through listening, empathy and understanding the needs of each individual patient Help promote a culture of positivity and teamwork across your team
