innovators, problem-solvers, and collaborators who make it all possible. There is currently one (1) opening for the Planner/Scheduler at Diamond Valley Lake. This recruitment may result in an eligibility list. What You'll do- Journey-level role responsible for coordinating maintenance planning and scheduling activities for the Lake Skinner and Diamond Valley Lake Conveyance and Distribution teams.
- Coordinates and monitors corrective maintenance work orders, ensuring issues are addressed efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborates with internal teams and external contractors, organizing resources, timelines, and materials needed to complete assigned work.
- Engages with Team Managers to assist with planning and execution of around the clock work done during pipeline shutdowns.
- Ensures projects and maintenance activities are completed safely, on time, and with minimal disruption to operations This job announcement has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this classification / job.

Hybrid:
Metropolitan's current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. In addition, a telework policy is scheduled for negotiations and once completed and implemented, will provide final direction on the hybrid schedule.EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or certificate of High School equivalency and five years journey-level experience in a relevant trade or craft. Relevant trade or craft is defined as: work experience in a Public Utility such as Water Department, Conveyance & Distribution, Treatment Plant, Sewer, Gas, Electric, Oil, etc.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver's License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment. CLOSINGBenefits:
