Job Description

Front Line Advisory Group (FLAG) is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support the scheduling, coordination, and delivery of large-scale capital infrastructure programs. This is a long-term opportunity for a scheduling professional with direct experience managing complex public-sector infrastructure schedules across design, procurement, construction, and closeout. The ideal candidate has deep experience working within large capital improvement programs, is fluent in Primavera P6, and is comfortable managing multiple active project schedules concurrently across various stages of delivery. Key Responsibilities Schedule Development & Management Develop, maintain, and update detailed baseline and progress schedules using Oracle Primavera P6. Manage and analyze multiple concurrent capital infrastructure project schedules, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with approved scope, milestones, budgets, and authorizations. Integrate consultant, contractor, and owner schedules into program-level or master schedules to support program oversight. Maintain schedule integrity through logic validation, constraint review, milestone tracking, and field coordination. Schedule Analysis & Controls Perform critical path analysis, float analysis, and schedule risk identification. Conduct Time Impact Analyses (TIA) to evaluate excusable and non-excusable delays. Evaluate schedule impacts related to change orders, scope modifications, permitting, right-of-way, utilities, procurement, and recovery plans. Conduct trend analysis and "what-if" scenario modeling to support mitigation strategies. Reporting & Program Support Prepare and deliver monthly, bi-weekly, and ad-hoc schedule performance reports. Track progress against approved baselines and identify variances, delays, and emerging risks. Support capital program reporting, milestone tracking, funding coordination, and executive-level briefings. Participate in program coordination meetings and provide clear, decision-ready schedule insights. Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with owners, project managers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and program leadership. Review consultant and contractor-submitted schedules for compliance with contract requirements and program standards. Support audit, oversight, governance, and reporting requirements related to schedule controls. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Planning, or a related technical discipline. Experience 5-8+ years of progressive experience in project scheduling and project controls for large-scale capital infrastructure programs. Demonstrated experience supporting public-sector capital improvement programs, transportation programs, utility programs, drainage projects, roadway projects, facilities, parks, or other infrastructure programs. Proven ability to manage multiple complex schedules simultaneously in a program management environment. Experience supporting projects through design, procurement, permitting, right-of-way, utility coordination, construction, and closeout. Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 required. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel for schedule analysis and reporting. Familiarity with PMO tools such as E-Builder, SharePoint, Procore, Oracle Visualizer, and MS Project. Experience with Earned Value Management, CPI/SPI, and performance metrics is a plus.
