Job Description

ABOUT GUARDIAN
Guardian Property Management is a fast-growing property management company based in Fargo, ND. We manage a portfolio of long-term, mid-term, and short-term rental properties. We're a small, tight-knit team that moves fast, takes ownership seriously, and is actively expanding into new markets. This isn't a big corporate PM company. There's no bloated hierarchy and no hiding behind a job title. If you're good, you'll be trusted quickly and given real responsibility. We're growing — and we need someone who wants to grow with us.
WHAT THIS JOB ACTUALLY IS
This is a split role: roughly half your time is in the field, half is coordinating from the office. On any given day you might be doing a move-in inspection in the morning, running supplies to Airbnbs, coordinating a vendor for a work order at noon, and responding to tenant communications and/or Airbnb guest by afternoon. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Field Work (approximately 50% of time): Conduct move-in and move-out inspections across the portfolio Complete property showings for prospective tenants Coordinate with vendors and maintenance contractors Manage inventory and supply restocking for short-term rental properties Perform property walkthroughs and condition checks as needed General errand running Office and Coordination (approximately 50% of time): Intake and triage work order requests — communicate with tenants, vendors, and the team through resolution Respond to tenant and guest communications with professionalism and speed Support leasing operations including scheduling, follow-up, and documentation Assist with social media content capture at properties (photos, short video — not managing a full strategy) Track and document activity in our property management platform (DoorLoop)
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing, coordination, or administrative role Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed) Strong written communication skills — you can write a clear, professional message without it being reviewed first Comfortable learning different property management softwares Available and responsive during core business hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some weekend work. Prior property management or real estate experience Familiarity with Airbnb, VRBO, or short-term rental operations Experience coordinating contractors or trades Customer service experience
WHAT WE OFFER
