We are a professional organization with a casual feel to the way we do business. The Project Manager provides overall leadership for the Project Management Team on each assigned project. Project Manager leads the planning and coordinating of activities of an assigned project to ensure that the goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame, funding parameters and to the highest level of quality. As our Project Manager/Estimator you will:
  • Be well versed across all scopes, systems, and assemblies including site work, structural, concrete, enclosure, finishes, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Actively manage risk, safety, and quality to ensure expectations are met.
  • Manage project financials to ensure performance goals are achieved.
  • Regularly provide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support, and collaboration
  • Deliver accurate and timely project status updates throughout all project phases.
  • Work to develop best practices with our organization and the Project Management team.
  • Lead Estimating efforts for projects that you will see through the construction phase.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Direct contract administration, procurement, scheduling and costing, supervise project, staff oversight and mentoring, risk management, safety and quality control.
  • Lead weekly construction meetings for each project
  • Track project expenditures and cost accounting.
  • Work with project teams to develop and maintain pre-construction and construction estimates.
  • Oversee and/or process day-to-day administrative items (i.e. expense reports, supply requisitions, budgets).
  • Conduct quantity take-offs.
  • Provide ongoing reporting, value engineering, and cost analysis throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Estimates labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties.
  • Assist with business development initiatives to secure future projects.
  • Manage and develop Team members.
The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of construction methods, processes and management practices; effective leadership skills, excellent analytical and problem solving skills; good communication skills; and be organized, efficient and responsive to the needs of each team member and our external clients.
Position Requirements:
Engineering, Construction Management, or related Bachelor degree and 5 years of experience in construction management or an equivalent combination of education and a minimum of 10 years of Construction Project Management experience. Experience interpreting and understanding construction plans and designs. Expertise using financial, budgeting and scheduling equivalent software. Proficiency in MS Office and Procore.
