Perform a variety of laundry attending, manual snow removal, cleaning services and other related duties required to keep remote industrial housing facilities, food service areas, office facilities, or similar areas in a clean and orderly condition. All duties are to be performed in accordance with NMS' mission, vision, and values. This position will support the Schlumberger (SLB East Camp) on the North Slope. This is a 3-week on & 3-week off rotational position. The point of hire origin is Anchorage, AK. Responsibilities Provides transportation services using Client provided shuttle vans and NMS provided light duty vehicles. Extensive driving with the possibility of foul weather conditions. Loading and unloading passenger luggage. Responsible for extensive transport and delivery of a variety of items to and from sites. Locates and distributes materials to specific areas manually or using handcart, hand truck. Drive shuttle to outlying areas to deliver materials, parts or parcels. Use appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions for all tasks. Removes and properly disposes of discarded materials. Removes and transports trash and recycling to the appropriate disposal areas. Participates in and supports corporate safety programs. Notify supervisor if safety and sanitation standards are not being met. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success may also be assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. At least one (1) year experience as a material expeditor or shuttle bus driver in a related field. A valid Class C driver's license or equivalent Acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years with no Dui in the last five (5) years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy. Must pass all pre-employment contract requirements which may include but are not limited to drug test, physical and fit for duty assessment and hearing test. Applicants not located near a testing facility are responsible for paying for travel to the nearest testing facility. Must be able to attend and pass client required Light Vehicle Training in Kellyville, OK. You must be able to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers, and clients. Must be able to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision. Must be able to be on your feet for 12 hours per shift for the scheduled rotation. Must be able to live in dormitory style settings and meet cleanliness requirements of the remote camp. Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read, and write English. Must meet and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the company and client.

Stoop & Twist:

Perform alternate cross over toe touches x 10 each side, self-paced but continuous.

Supine Position Test:

From a supine, recumbent position,while wearing arctic gear, test recipient must be able to stand without assistance x 3, self-paced (this task must be accomplished safely without significant loss of balance or falling.) Allow one re-test when there is a loss of balance considered unsafe or a fall.

Walk:

Walk on a treadmill at 3 MPH for 10 minutes with good balance,

Stairs:

Climb up and down 10 steps x 2 for a total of 20 steps;

Stairs & Carry:

Climb up and down 10 steps x 2 for a total of 20 steps while carrying 30 lbs. in one hand and using the other hand to grasp a railing for safety, self-paced. Allow a 30 second rest period after climbing up and down 10 steps while carrying.

Shoveling:

Perform a shovel test for five (5) minutes self-paced but continuous (i.e., no breaks) using a standard snow shovel with a 3 lb. weight attached to the shovel blade.
