At Swiss Re, we're looking for a Senior Underwriting Operations Associate to play a pivotal role in our International Operations Business Services team- where your work directly shapes the efficiency, accuracy, and profitability of our global underwriting process.

- a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in Business Operations within insurance, or a related field, with a solid understanding of operational workflows and industry practices Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- advanced working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook, with the ability to leverage these tools effectively in a fast-paced operational environment Data analysis and process evaluation skills
- demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data, review detailed information, evaluate options, and implement solutions following established processes and procedures These are additional nice to haves: Familiarity with international insurance regulations and an understanding of how coverage needs differ across global regions Experience with underwriting systems and tools , or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and master complex platforms Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills•a knack for developing alternative solutions based on an honest assessment of process strengths and weaknesses Process improvement mindset•experience participating in or leading initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, including testing and piloting system or process changes Cultural awareness and sensitivity•proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across a globally distributed team Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience composing professional business correspondence 4-year degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (Associate's degree or equivalent experience is required) Curiosity about emerging technology and a proactive approach to applying new tools and innovations to daily responsibilities The position is flexible to one of the following offices: Kansas City, MO, Windsor, CT, or Alpharetta, GA.
