WHAT THIS JOB IS
You walk residential neighborhoods across the East Valley, knock doors, start conversations with homeowners, and set appointments for our sales consultants. That's the job. You don't close deals — you fill the pipeline that makes everything else work. It's an outdoor, on-your-feet role. It suits people who are naturally outgoing, don't mind rejection, and want income tied directly to their output. If that's not you, this probably isn't the right fit. If it is — keep reading.
A DAY IN THE LIFE 12
00 pm — Team huddle & territory assignment. Get your neighborhood map for the day, align on goals, and head out. 1:30 pm — Canvassing begins. Work your assigned streets in Tempe, Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, or Queen Creek. Door conversations, pitching a free window consultation, logging contacts. 4:30 pm — Water & snack break. 30-minute break to recharge before the evening push. 5:00 pm — Back in the field. Evenings are prime time — catch homeowners who weren't available earlier in the day. 7:30 pm — Wrap up & report. Submit your daily numbers. Track appointments set and any follow-ups for the next day.
COMPENSATION
$65,000-$98,000+ first-year earning range 10-12% commission of revenue sold, based on production Average ticket size: $20,000 Pay every Friday
HOW THE PAY WORKS
Phase 1 — First 5 appointments: Paid per appointment set. You earn from day one, regardless of whether the deal closes. This is your ramp period — learn the pitch, build your rhythm, prove you can set. Phase 2 — After 5 appointments: Pay shifts to 10-12% of revenue sold, based on production. With an average ticket of $20,000, every closed deal adds up fast. Better appointments mean higher close rates. Higher close rates mean a bigger paycheck.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Comfortable starting conversations with strangers — this is the core skill Can handle rejection without taking it personally Reliable, on time, and able to work outdoors in Arizona weather Motivated by performance-based pay Previous canvassing or D2D experience is a plus — not a requirement Located in or commutable to the Phoenix East Valley 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S. Must have reliable transportation.
WHERE THIS ROLE LEADS
Canvassing is where our best closers started. Top performers move into in-home sales consultant roles — with higher comp. This role is the on-ramp . Then, our top performing in-home sales consultants move into Market Owner positions which pays $400,000 - $1M based on team and individual performance.
