Job Description

Electric Operations Resource Coordinator III Providence, RI | On-Site | 12-Month Contract About the Role Take your project coordination expertise to the next level as an Electric Operations Resource Coordinator III with Client In this pivotal on-site role, you'll play a central part in scheduling, resource management, and efficient delivery of electric distribution projects. Collaborate closely with supervisors, field crews, and stakeholders to drive operational excellence, ensure project deadlines are met, and make a direct impact on energy reliability across Rhode Island. Responsibilities Coordinate, schedule, and deliver electric distribution projects to internal and external field crews Manage resource assignments for construction, Opex, and Capital projects to optimize cost, efficiency, and schedule adherence Prepare and deliver complete project documentation including job cards, drawings, and forms to contractors Monitor regional work backlogs and balance workforce needs in real time Track project progress, oversee materials and equipment use, and ensure schedule compliance Identify risks from resource constraints or field issues and recommend timely solutions Bundle and prioritize maintenance tasks to maximize fleet utilization and operational efficiency Lead construction meetings and act as the main point of contact for schedule changes and project updates Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support policy and process implementation Remain available for storm events and participate in emergency response as needed Required Skills and Experience 2-5 years of experience in scheduling, operations, or project/program management (utility industry experience preferred) Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational abilities Proficiency in work management systems, data management, and MS Office applications Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrated accountability and performance-driven mindset Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Rhode Island (non-driving role) Preferred Skills Associate's degree from a technical school 4-6+ years of related experience in the utility sector Knowledge of Energy policies and practices Understanding of electrical overhead, underground line work, or substation operations Experience in independently managing projects and teams
