As a scheduler, you will play a key role in providing exceptional long-term care, sub-acute care, and memory care. Your strong skills and commitment to resident-centered care will help us meet the evolving needs of those we serve. RESPONSIBILITIES
Including, but not limited to:
  • Verify schedules are set for each shift within facility
  • Organize, prioritize, and coordinate all nursing staff schedules
  • Post staff schedule with 4 weeks in advance
  • Always develop/utilize a master schedule
  • Work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure accurate staffing
  • Proactively identify staffing problems, take initiative to resolve, and communicate to the DON and /or Administrator
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or hospital required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare environment is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and prior experience with Scheduling Software required.
  • The ideal candidate will also have previous scheduling experience.
  • Specific experience with Excel, On Shift, and Expense Watch is also a plus.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in long-term care or other healthcare settings is a plus.
  • Experience in Long Term Care
  • Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding employee, resident and company
  • proprietary information
  • Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels
  • Must possess computer skills of the types and at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
