Job Description

Overview Orangeburg County Broadband is seeking a professional and customer-focused Broadband Customer Support & Operations Coordinator to support broadband service operations and customer engagement initiatives. This role is responsible for assisting customers, coordinating service requests, maintaining operational records, and supporting broadband connectivity programs. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Assist customers with broadband service inquiries, account support, and connectivity concerns Coordinate service requests, installations, and technical support appointments Maintain accurate customer records, service documentation, and operational reports Communicate with technicians, vendors, and community stakeholders regarding broadband services Track project milestones and support broadband deployment initiatives Assist with data entry, reporting, and administrative tasks related to broadband operations Respond to customer questions via phone, email, and online communication channels Support outreach programs designed to increase broadband adoption and customer satisfaction Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures Requirements Previous experience in customer service, telecommunications, broadband services, or office administration preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to explain technical information in a customer-friendly manner Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and customer management software Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in internet service provider (ISP), telecommunications, or technology support environments Familiarity with broadband technologies, networking concepts, and customer account systems Knowledge of CRM platforms and ticketing systems Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Pay & Benefits Competitive pay: $22 - $28 per hour Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and company holidays Professional development and training opportunities Retirement savings plan eligibility Supportive and collaborative work environment Why Join Orangeburg County Broadband?
