Job Description

The Impact You'll Make Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking a 1st shift Production Scheduler responsible for implementing production plans directed by the Master Production Planner to meet customer delivery dates. This role involves managing daily schedules for designated production areas, including releasing production orders with a clear understanding of production capacity. What You'll Be Doing Release and monitor production orders as needed, ensuring schedules align with customer requirements. Attend the daily Production Meeting to discuss and coordinate schedule updates. Communicate promptly if cycle times are not clearly specified on production orders for manufacturing associates. Utilize SAP reporting - COOIS (Production Order Information System) to analyze all created work orders by line and compare planning against capacity. Monitor SAP data to assess production capacity and demand, directing internal efforts to fulfill customer delivery commitments. What We're Looking For A High School diploma or GED equivalent, combined with demonstrated experience and proficiency in manufacturing production scheduling. Comprehensive product and process knowledge across all assigned responsibilities. Thorough understanding of the production system within all areas of responsibility. Reliability and a positive attitude are essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Proficiency in computer applications such as SAP and Microsoft Office.
