Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day nuclear operations in accordance with established procedures, technical requirements, and regulatory standards. Ensure compliance with DOE, NRC, and applicable federal, state, and site-specific regulations. Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, safety, and quality organizations to support operational readiness. Review and support development of operating procedures, work packages, and technical documentation. Participate in operational assessments, audits, and readiness reviews. Support event investigations, corrective actions, and lessons learned initiatives. Promote and uphold a strong nuclear safety culture across all activities.

Minimum Requirements:

B.S. engineering or a closely related discipline. A high school diploma or equivalent with relevant technical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 10+ years of work experience with operational and/or safety performance of reactors and nuclear facilities. Experience in project and organizational management. Successful drug screen. Candidate must either possess or be eligible to obtain a US Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.

Preferred Requirements:

20+ years of work experience with operational and/or safety performance of reactors and nuclear facilities. Active Q or TS clearance. Experience in development of strategies and plans for construction or modifying nuclear facility infrastructure.

Location/Work Arrangement:

Onsite in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Schedule is full-time, Monday - Friday 40-hour week.
