Beaumont, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Communication with suppliers Phone communication Video conferencing software Vendor communication Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Richard Design Services (RDS) is currently seeking a planner/scheduler. Position Summary The planner/scheduler organizes and coordinates project timelines, resources, and tasks to ensure operations run efficiently. They determine equipment, materials, and manpower needed for jobs, develop schedules, and track progress to minimize downtime and control costs. Job Description Evaluate maintenance or manufacturing requests, bundle tasks for efficiency, and prepare daily or weekly schedules. Ensure necessary tools, spare parts, and personnel are available when a job is scheduled to begin. Monitor project progress against established master schedules and adjust workflows to account for delays or emergencies. Facilitate scheduling meetings with production teams, supervisors, contractors, and engineering departments. Ensure all project plans and maintenance routines adhere to government safety regulations and labor agreements. Job Requirements 5 years of related planning, scheduling, or hands-on reliability experience Bachelor's degree preferred Strong verbal and written skills to coordinate across multiple levels of an organization and with external vendors Employee must be capable of communicating in person, via telephone, email, video chat, and software systems Good organization, planning, and implementation skills, including the ability to coordinate and work in a team environment RDS is dedicated to providing a SAFE and Drug Free environment. Work Environment The Position would be located in office at one of RICHARD offices (Beaumont, Houston or Corpus Christi) It is an administrative office setting, and the employee will need to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and through email. The employee should be physically able to carry out the required tasks. They may need to visit clients or manufacturing facilities, so it's important that the employee is in good physical health in order to travel, attend meetings at various locations, and perform other duties as required.
