Job Description

Position Summary The Service Operations Assistant supports front‑end and customer service operations by assisting with daily execution, team support, and service standards. This role works closely with Service Operations leadership to ensure efficient checkout operations, strong customer service, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Support daily front‑end operations, including registers, courtesy desk, SCO, and customer service functions Assist with supervising and supporting front‑end associates to ensure service, productivity, and policy compliance Help manage customer flow, lane coverage, and workload distribution throughout the day Provide excellent customer service and assist with resolving customer questions, concerns, and service issues Support cash handling procedures, register accountability, and till accuracy Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and front‑end procedures Assist with training new associates on customer service expectations and front‑end processes Monitor cleanliness, organization, and safety of front‑end work areas Support enforcement of loss prevention, ID check, and refund policies Communicate operational needs, issues, and opportunities to Service Operations leadership Assist with administrative tasks such as schedules, reports, and daily checklists as assigned Uphold store standards and participate in store‑wide safety and loss prevention initiatives Qualifications Previous retail or customer service experience preferred Prior lead or supervisory experience a plus Strong communication and customer interaction skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment Basic cash handling and register experience preferred Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 pounds Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Core Competencies Customer service excellence Operational execution Team support and accountability Policy and procedure compliance Attention to detail
