In this vital role, you will coordinate and optimize processes related to warehouse distribution, procurement, transportation management, and inventory control. Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse activities including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and inventory management using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle. Coordinate transportation planning and logistics, including freight management, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency. Manage procurement processes by sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, analyzing pricing strategies, and optimizing supply chain costs through category management and demand planning. Utilize data analysis skills with tools like Tableau, SQL, and supply chain analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify root causes of issues, and implement process improvements. Support purchasing activities by tracking inventory levels, conducting data collection for demand forecasting, and managing inventory control to prevent stockouts or excess stock. Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing warehouse operations, transportation systems, and materials handling procedures for increased productivity. Ensure compliance with safety standards by operating mechanical equipment such as forklifts when necessary and adhering to warehouse safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics coordination within a warehouse environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, and transportation management systems (TMS). Demonstrated ability in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations. Skilled in data analysis using SQL, Tableau, or similar tools for reporting and decision-making purposes. Familiarity with freight forwarding (including NVOCC), shipping & receiving procedures, demand planning, and inventory control practices. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation such as forklifts is preferred. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions for process improvement initiatives.
