Now hiring! Maintenance Planner/Scheduler Freeport, TX (Onsite) The Maintenance Planner / Scheduler is responsible for planning and scheduling low-priority routine and special maintenance work, including capital projects, within assigned areas.
This role improves maintenance efficiency by defining the scope, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and timelines required to safely and effectively execute work. The Dispersions & Resins business develops, produces, and markets high-quality resins, additives, colorants, and polymer dispersions. These materials are used in coatings, packaging, construction, adhesives, nonwovens, and more.

Develop and maintain detailed, safe, and efficient job plans
Support execution of emergency and critical work with Maintenance Supervisors and Operations
Manage spare parts inventory and optimize stock levels within budget
Create purchase requisitions and material reservations
Continuously improve job plans based on feedback and performance data
Build and validate job kits and confirm daily schedules aligned to weekly plans
Facilitate weekly scheduling meetings with Production and Maintenance teams
Develop multi-craft weekly schedules to optimize labor and resources
Collaborate with Gatekeepers and Execution teams to manage schedule changes
Support planning for outages, shutdowns, and turnarounds
Provide input on staffing needs based on trends and forecasts
If you have... Required High School diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred
Required 2+ years of maintenance planning/scheduling experience
Preferred minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (petrochemical or refining)
Preferred background in instrumentation, electrical, or mechanical disciplines Technical Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling processes
Experience with CMMS systems (SAP preferred) and scheduling tools (e.g., P6)
Knowledge of spare parts and inventory management
Ability to troubleshoot plant equipment and processes
Experience with safety standards, work processes, and equipment repair Behavioral Competencies Strong commitment to safety and environmental performance
