Job Description

Position Overview GBSM Service and Management, LLC is seeking a highly organized and proactive Scheduler / Field Support Assistant to support daily operations. This role is critical to ensuring efficient coordination between field technicians, transportation providers, and customer facilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced, logistics-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate truck movements and transportation logistics Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays as needed Confirm field technician availability and ensure personnel are on-site for all scheduled jobs Communicate with vendors to understand equipment types, capabilities, and limitations Visit customer facilities to learn site requirements, layouts, and operational needs Coordinate transportation requests based on job scope and facility requirements Maintain accurate scheduling records, logs, and communication updates Provide general administrative and operational support to field teams Qualifications Previous experience in scheduling, logistics, dispatching, or field support preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel locally to customer and vendor locations Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) Experience in industrial services, transportation, or oil & gas environments is a plus Work Environment Combination of office and field-based work Regular interaction with field personnel, vendors, and customers Fast-paced, operations-focused setting Why Join GBSM Opportunity to play a key role in daily operations Growing company with hands-on leadership Dynamic work environment with variety in day-to-day responsibilities
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
