Full Job Description Job Summary:
Sirius Controls is a leading-edge manufacturer of chemical injection systems and remote solar power systems. We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our Sirius Team. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proactive approach to taking initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
PRODUCTION
Oversee the production process. Schedule production to meet delivery date and adjust priority as needed. Ensure that the production is cost effective and eliminates waste. Determine and allocate resources. Determine and improve cycle times for the job. Monitor the production processes and improve as needed. Responsible for maintenance of equipment Prepare and maintain production reports. QUALITY Diligently follow procedures related to quality inspection, and set-up checklists to ensure the highest level of quality. Establish, Document, and implement standard operating procedures for production operations. Ensure documentation (paperwork) is completed thoroughly and accurately Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives. Ensure awareness of all product quality non-conformances. Work with the Quality Manager to ensure that a recurrence is eliminated.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Actively participate in improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, efficiency in area of responsibility. Work with team and the CAR process to ensure important improvement ideas get properly communicated and implemented. Develop a culture of Lean Manufacturing, focused on removing waste in production to deliver quality products at lower cost. Accept peer feedback relative to personal performance and strive for personal development to continuously improve as a Production Manager. Qualifications Experience in production processes and techniques. Knowledge of raw materials. Knowledge of quality systems and standards. Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance. Knowledge of process improvement techniques. Strong computer skills in Microsoft office, including Excel, Word and Outlook. Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills. Experience in planning and organizing.
