LONG TERM MAINTENANCE PROJECT - NO PER DIEM
Journeyman:
SAP experience Typically 3 years and above documented field experience in chosen craft discipline with ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan and perform work activities independently.
SUMMARY:
Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site. May move materials manually or using a forklift, dolly, wheelbarrow, or a crane operated crane or hoist. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Track all material for each job.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities. Arranges on site transfer of materials and equipment to meet production schedules Follows all hazardous waste handling guidelines. Completes and maintains manual or computerized records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Coordinates and expedites flow of materials between departments and work areas, according to schedules or department priorities. Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to priorities and material availability Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications May assist with computing amount of material required to complete job tasks Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
LONG TERM MAINTENANCE PROJECT - NO PER DIEM JOB REQUIREMENTS
SAP experience Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy. Apply shop mathematics to solve problems. Plan work and select proper tools. Compare and see differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects. Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings. Make decisions based on measurable criteria.
QUALIFICATIONS
May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
