Data Center Construction Project Scheduler Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale datacenter construction projects at our San Antonio location. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. Responsibilities Develop and oversee the implementation of detailed project plans, including timelines and resource requirements. Manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, procurement, and construction to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time. Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues. Work with clients to understand their needs and ensure project outcomes meet their expectations. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Continuously improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that each project meets its objectives and is delivered on time. Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders. Facilitate Interactive Planning Sessions (IPS) with discipline leads, vendors, and clients to define the project critical path and continue to analyze and report throughout the project. Comply with relevant owner policies and procedures and work within legal and regulatory frameworks. Essential Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis. 8+ years of experience as a planner and/or scheduler utilizing scheduling software P6 or MS Project. Experience with Data Center construction programs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proven track record of delivering large-scale datacenter construction projects on time and to the satisfaction of clients. Understanding of Project Planning, Earned Value Management, and Key Commodity Tracking. Ability to analyze EPC plans/schedule and provide insights into trends, issues, and mitigations. Experience in managing teams and working collaboratively with cross-functional groups. Familiarity with Critical Path Methodology (CPM) scheduling methodology. Ability to present data from detailed to high-level depending on the audience. Work Environment This position is onsite in San Antonio. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week. Equipment such as a laptop, mouse, and headset will be provided by the supplier, while safety boots must be supplied by the candidate. The client will provide a vest and hard hat. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.
