Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and thriving in a role where no two days are quite the same? We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Office & Operations Assistant to support our growing food product development firm in Hurricane, UT. This position is ideal for an independent problem-solver who enjoys balancing client communications, administrative organization, light physical inventory management, and day-to-day office tasks. Key Responsibilities Administrative & Client Support Communicate professionally with clients and vendors via phone and email. Handle client billing and input business expenses/receipts accurately. Perform data entry, spreadsheet maintenance, and basic project tracking. Assist with general paperwork, filing, and administrative errands as needed. Sample Management & Logistics Log, maintain, and organize ingredient sample inventory. Prepare, package, and ship samples or materials to clients. Office Environment Maintain a clean, organized, and functional work environment (e.g., light dusting, vacuuming, trash disposal).
Qualifications & Required Skills Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required (higher education or vocational training is a plus). Prior office admin or experience preferred.
Math & Measurement Comfort:
Comfortable working with basic practical math, including imperial/metric conversions , percentages, and ratios.
Tech Literacy:
Proficiency with spreadsheets ( Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel ) and standard office software.
Communication:
Professional, prompt, and courteous written and verbal communication.
Physical Capability:
Able to perform light physical tasks (occasional lifting, organizing physical inventory, light cleaning).
Work Style:
Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of prioritizing tasks with minimal supervision. Schedule & Availability Standard target hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (20 hours/week).
