Birdsong Peanuts , a fifth-generation, family-owned business, is a leading peanut supplier in the United States and to export customers from Europe to Japan. We work closely with more than a thousand American farmers to sustainably grow, harvest, and process the highest-quality peanuts across a regionally diversified network of five shelling plants. To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate: A strong commitment to continuous improvement, consistently identifying opportunities to contribute to the organization's overall success An innovative mindset, with the ability to approach problem-solving creatively and effectively A growth-oriented perspective, valuing constructive feedback as a tool for development and actively providing thoughtful, high-quality feedback to colleagues Additionally, the Logistics Coordinator and Scheduler should: Exhibit exceptional organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively while maintaining a strategic, big-picture perspective Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, with the capacity to shift focus as needed within a dynamic and evolving international supply chain environment Operate as a proactive self-starter, showing initiative and a strong drive to contribute and deliver results Possess strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration, transparency, and positive working relationships with both internal teams and external partners Minimum Requirements Education or Experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or a minimum of five years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations. Communication & Leadership Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze business, technical, and regulatory documents with accuracy. Proven ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights and provide concise direction to cross-functional teams and leadership. Strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships across departments. Demonstrated ability to positively influence teams and support change initiatives that enhance operational performance and workplace culture. Professional Skills & Competencies Highly detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and time management abilities. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Proactive problem-solver with a commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement. Technical Proficiency Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook (or equivalent platforms). Comfortable working with inventory, ERP, or logistics management systems in a fast-paced environment. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
