Job Description

Print Operations Associate Tuttle is an employee-owned commercial printer in Rutland, VT since 1912 and is looking for someone to join our team as an Print Operations Associate. This position is critical in finishing, packaging, and getting printed products to our customers. As a dynamic business the needs of the business change based on workload management, vacation coverage, bottlenecks, etc. The successful candidate will need to thrive in an ever-changing environment. While the primary duties will be in the finishing department, this position will also be looked on to work on shipping and receiving, deliveries, and press support. Working closely with Sales/Service, Purchasing, Production, and Shipping areas, the Operations Associate is accountable for meeting department and company goals and playing a key role in meeting company-wide profitability and customer satisfaction goals: Responsibilities and Duties General and Administrative Participate as a key player in the Production Team by supporting operations. Communicate effectively with Management, the Sales/Service Team, and the Production Team, informing and updating them as needed to guarantee that company and customer objectives are met. Perform all required transactions in the company's order management system (PressWise). Daily Tasks, dependent on assignment area Perform various Finishing duties to include but not limited to cutting, slitting, padding, folding, inserting, mailing, etc. Inspect outbound orders to assure proper job specifications have been met Preform shipping duties to include order packing, labeling, and order completion transactions with the PressWise order management system Prepare press orders by processing stock needs and staging material at the correct press Prepare customer orders by processing stock needs and staging material for outbound inspection Receive, inspect, and verify inbound deliveries Delivery duties including mail runs and pickup, customer deliveries, and product transfer to production partners Other operations tasks as required by managers Qualifications High school or GED equivalent Valid driver's license Forklift certification or the ability to become certified Be able to lift 60 pounds Ability to perform all required transactions in the company's order management system (PressWise) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good mathematical skills If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for operations and production and want to be part of a growing, employee-owned local business, we would love to hear from you.
