Operations Assistant

Position Description An assitant position is open at Dudes Donuts - come join our team! We're looking for an enthusiastic person to join our tight-knit team with similar values of collaboration, hard work and integrity. We are a small batch, 100% plant-based and gluten-free baking company located in Port Orchard, Washington. Since 2019, we have produced artisan donuts for grocery stores, coffee shops, cafes, and online sales. We opened the world's first Dudes Donuts Coffee House in December 2022 on Bay Street in our hometown of Port Orchard, WA. This position is for you if you have a background in management or retail operations, would like to help support a young, plant-based baking company, and you are adaptable to the changing environment of a fast-growing business. Position Specifics Retail/Cafe Operations:

Oversees POS management functions and opening & closing procedures Collaborates with FOH manager for coordination, communication and execution of new sales promotions, new product introductions, seasonal offerings, and periodic retail events Champion of and for coffee quality standards in the Coffee House Ensures compliance with all government regulations as they pertain to food and beverage service under guidance of FOH manager.

Inventory assistance:

Partners with inventory manager to maintain adequate ingredients and dry goods inventories via local and online vendors, and weekly shopping / order pickups at local wholesalers.

Other:

Periodically delivers products and samples to current and potential customers, as needed Works the occasional pop up event Other duties as assigned such as baking and barista shifts

Strong collaborative skills. Flexible & adaptable; enjoys problem-solving and supporting the ambitions of a young, fast-growing brand

Education and Experience:

1+ years of successful track record as an operations manager, store manager, inventory manager, or similar relevant position required. Specialty coffee experience strongly preferred Specialty baking experience a plus but not required

Days & Hours:

Flexible as needed, but likely 20-30 hours per week with Thursday through Monday focus days. Coffee House currently operates Fri-Sun.
