Secure necessary documentation, verify patient demographics, and obtain insurance authorizations or precertifications. Collect co-pays, deductibles, and previous balances and reconcile reports and deposits to ensure financial accuracy. Answer telephones, screen calls, take messages, and provide essential clerical support.
