Job Description

Company is seeking a manufacturing buyer / purchaser and expeditor for their manufacturing facility.
Small job shop. Family owned and operated
Raw Materials Buyer-metal fabrication, machining and related.
Manufacturing experience in metal fabrication, machining, supply raw materials purchasing.
Requisitions, expediting orders, implement contract instructions, arrange delivery dates, coordinate materials, process and purchasing.
Arrange best prices for raw materials, supplies and tooling.
Quoting, inventory, processing and purchasing.
Prefer someone with manufacturing in metal fabrication, welding, assembly, machining or related production.
Firsthand knowledge of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and consumable tooling.
Typical skills and knowledge:
Experience with JobBoss Software or similar
Experience with Shape Cutting Software (Plate/Sheet) - AutoCAD
(In other words, how over-paying for materials hurts the bottom line).
Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are also typical skills.
Leverage previous experience and networks to procure raw materials at the best available market prices.
$28-$34/hour starting ATS-BRO
