Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Breakthrough is a strategic transportation partner that helps shippers use data, technology, and market knowledge to reduce cost, create efficient networks, and decarbonize transportation. Within Breakthrough, the Growth organization is focused on scaling solutions, expanding impact across markets like Europe, Mexico, and Marine, and creating clear ownership, stronger handoffs, and accountability as the business grows. The Global Operations Specialist II role plays an important part in that work by supporting operational processes, carrier relationships, procurement activities, reporting, and continuous improvement to help deliver an excellent client experience. This position is located onsite in Green Bay, WI and the individual in this position must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with internal teams to manage information requests and deliver timely, accurate reporting to clients. Manage carrier communications, including onboarding, support, and ongoing relationship management for multiple projects, such as client RFPs. Facilitate carrier engagement in business processes while monitoring and reporting outcomes. Execute transactional tasks, such as pricing estimate requests, while proactively identifying and resolving challenges. Analyze operational and procurement data to identify opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and process improvement. Navigate ambiguous situations to problem-solve and support escalated issues from team members. Configure FELIX platform to streamline load processing, reporting, and procurement tasks. Stay informed on industry best practices and contribute to ongoing learning and development. Communicate effectively across multiple channels to handle inquiries, maintain relationships, and ensure alignment with team and client objectives. Champion continuous improvement, quality control, and standardization across operations and procurement functions. Support corporate initiatives, including compliance with safety and government regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish with a focus on relationship-building. Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Copilot, Excel and PowerPoint. Process-oriented with a drive to innovate and improve workflows. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively. Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to team and organizational goals. Knowledge of transportation operations in Mexico preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required. Elements of the interview process will be conducted in Spanish.
