Join the KI Team KI is seeking an experienced and highly organized Master Scheduler to lead and coordinate scheduling activities across our Manitowoc manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for ensuring production schedules align with customer demand, manufacturing capacity, and business objectives. The Master Scheduler will oversee plant-wide scheduling processes, lead a team of schedulers, and collaborate closely with Operations, Purchasing, Sales Operations, Engineering, and other KI facilities to drive operational excellence and on-time delivery performance. What You'll Do Develop and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient use of manufacturing capacity. Monitor shop orders, production priorities, and work center schedules, making adjustments as needed. Collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, and Sales Operations to proactively address material, labor, and equipment constraints. Lead and coordinate scheduling activities across multiple manufacturing departments and product lines. Support large projects, key customer accounts, and expedited orders by aligning production capacity with customer commitments. Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related issues and escalations. Lead, coach, and develop scheduling team members while ensuring adequate cross-training and departmental coverage. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling processes, tools, reporting, and overall efficiency. Maintain scheduling data integrity within BPCS and generate key performance reports and metrics. Partner with other KI manufacturing facilities to support intercompany production needs and share best practices. Required Qualifications Associate degree in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 3-4 years of manufacturing experience in scheduling, planning, supervisory, lead, or related role. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to become proficient in BPCS or similar ERP systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience with production planning and manufacturing scheduling. Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement knowledge. Experience using ERP systems and production planning tools.
