Job Overview Baker Construction is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Materials Runner to support daily operations. This role is responsible for purchasing, picking up, and delivering materials, coordinating shipments for remote job sites, and keeping the shop and storage areas organized and running efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in staying organized, working independently, and keeping things moving without being asked. Responsibilities Pick up materials, tools, and supplies from local vendors (Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.) Verify order accuracy (quantities and condition) before leaving the store Deliver materials to airport or shipping locations for transport Assist with packaging, labeling, and staging materials for shipment Organize and maintain the shop, yard, and storage areas Keep tools, equipment, and materials clean, labeled, and easy to locate Run company errands including returns and parts pickups Maintain receipts and basic documentation for purchases Ideal Candidate Naturally organized and notices when things are out of place Plans ahead and thinks through tasks before acting Takes pride in keeping the shop clean and materials ready to go Communicates clearly and follows through on tasks Understands that small mistakes (wrong parts, missed items) can delay entire jobs Work Environment Combination of driving, shop work, and light job site support Indoor and outdoor work in varying conditions Fast-paced environment supporting multiple projects

Pay:
