Job Summary :
The Shipping Specialist is responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, schedule, and track all outgoing shipments to ensure on-time delivery Prepare shipping documents and maintain accurate records of all shipments Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders Communicate with carriers to arrange pick-up and resolve any delivery issues Inspect incoming shipments for damages, discrepancies, or quality issues Organize and maintain inventory of shipping supplies and materials Keep track of return shipments and coordinate with relevant departments for processing
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with ShipStation a plus Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using computers and basic software applications Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required Knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance requirements is desirable Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and ability to work well under pressure Full Time Seasonal Monday-Friday , 8:00AM-4:30PM, willing to work overtime and possibly some weekends as needed Starting at $17 an hour
