Job Description

Job Title:
Shipping & Receiving Associate Shift:
7:30 am to 4 pm Monday - Friday Our client prides itself on quality, reliability, and precision. As a leading provider in the electronics space, their warehouse operations are the backbone of our customer satisfaction. Our client is seeking a highly meticulous and experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic team and ensure our inbound and outbound logistics run flawlessly. Position Overview As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, accuracy is your superpower . You will be responsible for handling the physical movement of goods, maintaining an immaculate inventory, and performing rigorous quality control checks. The ideal candidate has strong material handling experience and a solid understanding of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts and standards.
Key Responsibilities Inbound & Outbound Logistics:
Manage the accurate receipt of all incoming materials and the preparation of outgoing shipments. Verifying packing slips against physical inventory is critical.
Material Handling:
Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse. Quality Control (QC): Inspect incoming components and outgoing orders for defects, damage, or discrepancies to ensure absolute compliance with company and OEM standards.
Inventory Management:
Maintain real-time inventory accuracy by properly scanning, labeling, and shelving stock. Assist with routine cycle counts.
OEM Compliance:
Utilize knowledge of OEM parts/specifications to ensure the correct handling, sorting, and shipping of sensitive electronic components.
Documentation & Detail:
Maintain precise logs, update warehouse management software, and ensure all shipping labels and customs/freight paperwork are 100% accurate.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
2+ years of experience in a warehouse shipping and receiving role, preferably within the electronics or manufacturing industry.
Equipment Certification:
Proven experience operating a forklift (certification preferred) and manual/electric pallet jacks .
Technical Savvy:
Strong knowledge of OEM parts and the ability to identify technical components accurately. The "Detail"
Factor:
Exceptional attention to detail; a proven track record where accuracy is key to preventing inventory drift or shipping errors.
Inventory Skills:
Experience with inventory control systems, barcode scanners, and basic computer proficiency.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift up to [e.g., 50 lbs] regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
