• Our team seeks a(n) Shipping Assoicate to help us create better outdoor experiences by ensuring that REI's standards are properly applied and maintained in our Distribution Center.

• Your qualities:
• + Comfortable working with heights of 30+ ft.

+ Able to work standing or walking for 10 hour shifts. + Safely handle product in an efficient and trained manner. + Ability to build rapport with other departments to ensure freight flow service levels and quality levels are maintained + Able to frequently lift and shift boxes weighing an average of 20 to 35 pounds with a maximum of 65 pounds throughout a full shift of work. + Flexibility to work within different departments. + Works efficiently and safely by setting effective work goals, establishing priorities, and producing quality work. + Able to work under pressure to ensure deliveries of product are shipped on time. + Able to collaborate cross-departmentally to strategize and plan each day in order to execute shipping as much product as possible to our stores and customers.
